Armenia is the motherland of the apricot. Though today apricots grow in many countries of the world, just the Armenian apricot is considered the best, due to the extraordinary climate. Moreover, it is here that the wonderful «Ijevan» apricot brandy appeared. The brandy passes through a triple distillation, then it is matured in oak barrels for at least 5 years, during which it gets an intense, soft and steady flavour of apricots and nuts. To feel the whole depth of the taste of this drink, it is recommended to be served at room temperature.
